About This Role:

  • Truly full-stack engineering position (a little more emphasis on the back-end).

  • Ideal for people that like fast-moving, ever-changing projects.

  • Assist with the development of websites, single-page applications, eCommerce, and SaaS solutions.

  • Will work on several projects concurrently, many of which you’ll serve as the lone development resource.

  • Charleston, SC is the preferred location but will consider candidates within 2-3 hours (open to remote and hybrid).


Technical Skills:

  • Strong PHP development experience.

  • Experience working with multiple PHP frameworks (WordPress, Laravel, Symfony, Cake, Zend, Yii, CodeIgniter, etc.).

  • Please highlight what CMS systems you have experience with.

  • Experience with eCommerce platforms (Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify, etc.) is always a plus.

  • Strong core JavaScript and jQuery chops. 

  • Experience with CSS and Sass. Bootstrap experience is also good to have/highlight.

  • Understanding of user experience practices such as Dynamic UX.

  • Backend LAMP skills (Linux, MySQL). While not needed, please highlight other backend skills such as Node.js, NoSQL (MongoDB, etc.), etc.

  • Experience with APIs, web services, REST/RESTful, etc.

  • Any DevOps skills are nice to have.
